Anti-ageing Treatments
Bioscor has recently introduced an Internal Anti-Ageing Program that seeks to rejuvenate the body from within to reverse or slow the ageing process. Bioscor believes that it is fruitless to improve the exterior appearance without making oneself more healthy and youthful on the inside. These treatments include injections of Vitamin C.
Vitamin C also known as ascorbic acid is a much talked about vitamin, with people claiming it as a cure for many diseases and problems – from cancer to the common cold. Yet, this miracle vitamin cannot be manufactured by the body, and needs to be ingested or given intravenously. Vitamin C is required for the synthesis of collagen in connective tissue and also enhances iron bioavailability. Ascorbic acid is a great antioxidant and helps protect the body against pollutants and free radicals.
Vitamin C is also linked to the prevention of degenerative diseases – such as cataracts, certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases. Ascorbic acid also promotes healthy cell development, poor calcium absorption, normal tissue growth and repair – such as healing wounds and burns. It assists in the prevention of blood clotting and bruising, and strengthening the walls of capillaries.
Vitamin C is needed for healthy gums, to protect against infection, and assisting with clearing up infections and is thought to enhance the immune system and help reduce cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and preventing atherosclerosis.
